Had a love marriage eight years ago, now killed his wife

Sonipat: In Bainyapur Khurd village of Sonipat, after eight years of love marriage, a young man strangled his wife to death after a quarrel. The accused is absconding since committing the crime. After the complaint, the police registered a case of murder and sent the body to the hospital for post-mortem. The accused Ravi had a love marriage with Monika of Mahmood village in 2016. The families of both Monika and Ravi were against this love marriage. After getting married, both started living outside the village. Ravi and Monika have two sons. It is being said that Ravi and his wife Monika had a fight over something. After this, in a fit of rage, Ravi strangled his wife Monika to death.

In this entire matter, the Sadar police station has registered a case and started investigation. ACP Jeet Singh of Kharkhoda said that information was received about the murder of a woman in Bahiyapur village. Ravi’s family members had informed the police. Ravi and Monika had a love marriage in 2016 and there was a dispute going on in their house for some time. Police said, due to domestic discord, Ravi strangled Monika to death. Monika’s post-mortem is being conducted. Based on the complaint, a case has been registered against Ravi. The accused will be arrested soon.
