Habitual criminal arrested for selling liquor in Birgaon
Raipur. Mukesh alias Fatte, a habitual criminal who was selling liquor illegally, has been arrested. In the same sequence, Urla police station received information that a person is looking for a customer to sell liquor in a white colored plastic bag in Itwari Bazaar Birgaon under Urla police station area. On which, under the guidance of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Urla, the team of police station Urla identified and caught the person of the description described by the informer and the people buying liquor ran away after seeing the police. When the team members searched the plastic sack kept with him, it was found that country masala liquor was kept in the sack. Efforts were being made continuously to mislead the team members by not presenting any kind of document when asked for valid documents regarding possession of liquor. On which the accused was arrested and illegally kept from his possession 32 pauvas of country masala liquor totaling 5.760 bulk liters worth approximately Rs 3520/- were seized and crime number 115/24 section 34(2) of the Excise Act was registered against the accused in police station Urla. It was registered and action was taken. The accused is a goon from Urla police station area.
