Gujarat Titans collaborates with ‘Pokemon’

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Titans (GT) celebrated the successful conclusion of ‘Junior Titans’ season two in Ahmedabad, which also included their first collaboration with the popular cartoon Pokemon.The theme of the initiative is ‘Let’s Sport Out’, which is designed to inculcate a love for outdoor sports in children below the age of 14, as stated in a press release issued by the franchise.The second season concluded at St. Xavier’s High School Loyola Hall in Ahmedabad.The innovative initiative was held in five cities of Gujarat starting from Junagadh to Bhavnagar, Bharuch, Palanpur and finally culminating in Ahmedabad on Saturday.
Children turned out in large numbers with the participation of over 5,000 children from 106 schools across the five cities.”A unique initiative by Gujarat Titans, Junior Titans encourages children to participate in outdoor activities and seeks to establish a vibrant sports culture by fostering a lifelong passion for outdoor sports from an early age,” the release said. One of the key highlights of this season was the partnership with Pokemon. Under this partnership, children were given the chance to meet their beloved Pokemon Pikachu and participate in exciting activities, including exciting items as prizes. In Palanpur and Ahmedabad, Pokemon also distributed goodie bags and stickers. Notably, this partnership will continue throughout the Gujarat Titans cricket season as well, giving selected children a live match experience together with Pokemon. Gujarat Titans fans will also get a chance to interact with Pikachu at the Fan Zone of the team’s home stadium – Narendra Modi Stadium, through a digital integration to be rolled out during the upcoming cricket season.
