Gujarat: Botad-Dhrangadhra DEMU train in the grip of a fierce fire, 3 coaches burnt together

On Monday, a fire broke out in the Botad-Dhrangadhra DEMU train parked at the Botad railway station due to some reason. The fire was so fierce that in no time the fire spread to 3 coaches one after the other. Due to which platform number 7 was completely closed. According to the news, no casualties have been reported in the fire. Railway officials reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported.

After immediately informing the fire brigade personnel about the incident, three fire engines including 30 fire brigade personnel reached the spot and tried to control the fire by spraying water. In which the fire was controlled after two hours of effort. Due to some reason, a train caught fire in the Botad-Dhrangadhra demu standing at Botad railway station. The cause of the fire is not known. It is a matter of honor that there was no casualty in this incident.

According to the information, this demo train leaves Botad for Surendranagar at 6 pm. When the fire broke out, the train was standing on platform number 7 of Botad railway station, when suddenly a fierce fire broke out. However, the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. On getting information about the incident, railway officials reached the spot. At the same time, preliminary investigation has been done in relation to the incident.
