Business Business: MG is preparing to launch a new electric car called MG Windsor EV in the Indian market. This will be MG’s third electric car in India and will be based on the Wuling Cloud electric car sold in global markets. The MG Windsor EV will be launched in India on September 11. Please tell us what features will be included. The body style is crossover, and many excellent designs are associated with the donor model. There is an integrated LED daytime running light strip on the instrument panel and below the headlights. It has a minimalist and clean design from the side and rear. Connected LED taillights further underline the futuristic look.
An all-black cabin theme can be seen there. The interior is decorated with bronze inserts. A recent teaser revealed that the car has wooden parts on the steering wheel and dashboard. The rear seats recline up to 135 degrees and are equipped with a center armrest.
The features of this phone include a 15.6-inch touchscreen, an 8.8-inch digital driver display, and wireless phone charging. It also features electrically adjustable front seats and a power tailgate. Six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC) and a 360-degree camera could be offered to ensure passenger safety. Additionally, it could have advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and automatic emergency braking.
According to media reports, the India-spec Windsor EV could come with a 38 kWh unit, which could offer a range of up to 460 km. The claims made in this case may vary slightly. The built-in battery produces a maximum power of 136 hp and a peak torque of 200 Nm.
Given the features available, we expect the MG Windsor EV to be priced in India at up to Rs. 50,000, taking it up against the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400.
