Green Army created Neem corridor by planting 200 saplings

Neem corridor made by Green Army organization. More than 200 saplings were planted by the organization from Kabir Nagar police station to Gol Chowk. The capital Raipur has many roads, paths, settlements which used to be full of trees but today have become a victim of urbanization and concreteization, state media in-charge Shashikant Yadav said that the organization is continuously reviewing the national highways passing through Raipur city and other places in the city for tree plantation where neem corridor will be constructed. In this connection, a tree plantation program was organized today by Tatibandh zone of Green Army organization. Green Army organization where this corridor was constructed by planting more than 200 neem saplings from Kabir Nagar police station to Gol Chowk road. Neem plant is full of many medicinal properties. Neem has antifungal, antiviral and antioxidant properties. Neem tree, famous since ancient times, is considered very useful for our health. Organization members say that on one hand, cutting of trees and on the other hand automobile pollution and harmful emissions from industry are such problems which have a deep harmful effect on the health of every living being, including humans. People are losing respect for the earth in the greed of luxury. We are moving towards a global disaster. In such a situation, planting neem trees is absolutely necessary. It is full of medicinal properties and provides sufficient oxygen. During the plantation, slogans of environmental protection like who will protect the trees, we will, we will, Mother Earth calls, plant trees, decorate them, etc. were raised, which attracted the attention of local residents and passersby. During the entire plantation drive, small children, youth, elderly women were seen watering the plants with tree guards in their hands for about a kilometer. This plantation was a beautiful and attractive sight to behold, which was greatly appreciated by the local residents. It is known that the organization has been working for environmental conservation for the last 7 years. The organization members plant trees during the rainy months and take care of them during the rest of the months. To make Raipur a green Raipur, Green Army is appealing to plant as many trees as possible. On the occasion of construction of this Neem Corridor today, Kabir Nagar Vyapari Sangh, and local residents were present in large numbers along with Green Army organization members. Tatibandh Zone President Shri PK Tiwari has expressed gratitude to the present members, residents, Vyapari Sangh, environment lovers for the successful organization of this program.
