Grandmother was murdered, grandson absconded after PM report came

Raipur. In Raipur, a grandson has beaten his grandmother to death. The accused locked the room of the house and then committed the crime. The 75-year-old elderly woman was badly injured due to the beating. The family members did not take her to the hospital by mutual consent, due to which the elderly died within 48 hours. The case is of Khamtarai police station area. According to the information received from Khamtarai police, Anita Yadav lodged a complaint with the police, in which she told that she is a resident of Ganganagar Bhanpuri. On November 1, at 4 pm, her nephew Prem Yadav, age 31, reached home. He had a dispute with his grandmother Bhuri Bai Yadav over some domestic matter, after which he locked the door of the room of the house.

The accused Prem Yadav started beating his grandmother Bhuri Bai brutally with his fists, due to which Bhuri Bai suffered serious injuries on her face, hands, eyes, chest and head. She was badly injured. After the incident, the family members compromised by saying it was a family matter, then instead of taking her to the hospital, they started treating the mother at home.

Bhuri Bai died after suffering in pain for about 48 hours. After the incident, the accused Prem Yadav fled from the house. The family members informed the Khamtarai police about this matter. After this, the postmortem report revealed that the woman was beaten to death.
