Grandfather jumped into grandson’s dispute, 6 people killed him

Mahasamund. A person was beaten to death in Sapos village in Sankara police station area of the district. Taking action in this case, the police has arrested all the 6 accused. It is being told that the deceased had approached the accused to protest against the old land dispute and the dispute with his grandson. During this period he beat him to death.According to the information received, applicant Motiram Dhruv lodged a report in Sankara police station that there was a dispute with his younger brother Shankar Dhruv (age 50 years) regarding the warehouse land of accused Manohar Dhritalhare and last night Ajay Dhruv, grandson of deceased Shankar Dhruv and his Friends Somnath, Tapuraj, Hemant along with accused Hetram, Manohar Devraj, Karan, Chandraprakash and Sunil were beaten with fists.

After that, when the deceased Shankar Dhruv protested against the attackers, all the accused together attacked him with an iron rod and made him fall on the ground and attacked Hetram Shankar with rods in his chest and neck. When Heerabai went to Dhruv’s rescue, he too was abused and beaten. In which Heerabai’s right hand got injured. Shankar Dhruv died due to serious injury in this dispute. On this matter, a crime was registered under sections 294, 323, 147, 302 at Sankara police station. Acting in the case, the police arrested the accused within a few hours and further action is being taken.
