Govt seizes Bus Bhavan floors; unions protest
IT and GST officials have taken over the Telangana Bus Bhavan. The IT and GST officials, who broke the locks of the RTC offices located in all four corners of the Bus Bhavan, have taken over the locks. When the RTC staff asked what this was, the officials said that the state government had allotted four floors to them. It is reported that the CS has given a GO in this regard.
The authorities have taken over four floors in Block A of the Bus Bhavan. The trade unions are raising objections to the government taking over the Bus Bhavan and RTC assets before the RTC employees are merged. They are questioning how the employees and RTC assets will be allocated to government offices when all the assets are under the corporation.
It is reported that the RTC trade unions have decided to hold a large-scale meeting tomorrow on this decision. The trade unions are alleging that the Revanth government is conspiring to throw RTC employees on the road.
