Government teacher sacrifices his life, accountant in trouble

Jhansi: Hurt after being betrayed in love, a 32-year-old government teacher chose the path of suicide. After a love affair going on for the last 10 years, the young man who became an accountant married another girl just eight months ago. On getting information about this, the teacher complained to Nawabad police station and a settlement was reached between both the parties. Even after this, the accountant kept divorcing the married wife and giving the girl the promise of marriage. After this it turned again. Due to this, the girl became depressed and consumed poison. On getting information, the family members got him admitted to the medical college. Where he died. The teacher’s sister has filed a complaint against the accountant in Sadar Bazar police station. Police have sent the body for post-mortem.
32-year-old Sumanlata Ahirwar, resident of Bhattagaon of Sadar Bazar police station area, was a government teacher of Ahraura village. Sumanlata was having an affair with an accountant of Sadar tehsil for the last 10 years. The young man became an accountant in 2015. Whereas Sumanlata became a teacher in 2021. Family members allege that the accountant kept luring Sumanlata with the promise of marriage and got married in June 2023. Sumanlata complained about this to Nawabad police station. The police made a compromise between both the parties. Even after this, Lekhpal continued talking to her on mobile on the pretext of marriage. When Sumanlata pressured him to marry him, he backed down. He consumed poison on Friday. Sadar police station in-charge Sarita Mishra said that sister Kirnalata has filed a complaint against the accountant. In the complaint, it has been said that the accountant committed suicide after cheating.
