Google Pixel 9a launched in India; Know specs, variants, price and availability

Google has finally introduced the third device of the Pixel 9a series in India- Pixel 9a. The Google Pixel 9a is launched as the successor to the Google Pixel 8a and the device costs Rs 49,999 in India. It will be available for sale in April 2025.
The Google Pixel 9a features a familiar design element like the other Pixel 9 series. The device can be seen as the competitor of the iPhone 16e. There has been hardware and software upgrade on the Google Pixel 9a.
Specifications
Google Pixel 9a gets 6.3-inch Actua pOLED display (1080 x 2424 pixels) with refresh rate up to 120Hz. The peak brightness of the device is up to 2700 nits and gets Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The device is powered by Google’s Tensor G4 chip that is paired with Titan M2 security coprocessor. Google Pixel 9a gets 8GB RAM with 256GB internal device. There is provision of dual SIM (Nano+eSIM) smartphone with Android 15 out of the box. The device will get software updates for next 7 years. The device gets IP68 rating against dust and water damage.
Colour options on the device are Iris, Obsidian, Peony, and Porcelain colours.
In terms of camera specs, the Google Pixel 9a gets 48MP primary rear camera with OIS and 13MP ultra-wide camera (120 degree field of view). The front camera is 13MP sensor and is suitable for taking selfies/ receiving video calls. Camera features include Macro Focus, Add Me, Night Sight, Reimagine, Magic Eraser, Best Take, Photo Unblur, and much more. Primary camera can record videos at up to 4K/60 fps.
Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, etc. For charging we get USB Type-C 3.2 port. There is in-display fingerprint sensor on the device and it weighs 185.9g. The device offers 5100mAh Li-Ion battery with more than 30 hours of battery life. There is 23W wired charging support along with Qi-wireless charging support.
