Gonda: Brother kills younger brother’s wife by slitting her throat, sensation in the area

Gonda: In Sisai Ranipur village of Chapiya police station area in Gonda district, on Friday morning, a woman who had left the house to go to the toilet was murdered by her brother-in-law by slitting her throat and he absconded. The brutal murder of the woman created a stir in the village. On receiving the information, Superintendent of Police Vineet Jaiswal reached the spot with the dog squad and forensic team and investigated the incident. He has directed the local police to arrest the accused.

The Chapiya police has filled the Panchnama of the body and sent it for post-mortem and is searching for the accused. According to Bajrangi Prajapati, a resident of Sisai Ranipur village of Chapiya police station area, his wife Asha (45) had left for going to the toilet in the early hours of Friday. Meanwhile, her elder brother Ram Avatar caught her outside the village and killed Asha by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon. After committing the crime, the accused fled.

This brutal incident of murder created a stir in the village. The villagers informed the Chapiya police about this. Upon receiving the information, the Area Officer Mankapur RK Singh and the Police Station Head Chhapia Krishna Gopal Rai inspected the scene and informed the higher authorities. The forensic team and dog reached the spot.
