Golbazar police caught a woman selling liquor

Raipur raipur news. Accused Gudiya alias Afsana B has been arrested with illegal liquor. Golbazar police had received information that a woman has kept illegal liquor near Dai Kora Bhawan under Golbazar police station area and is looking for a customer to sell it. On the instructions of senior officers, the team of Golbazar police station under the leadership of Golbazar police station in-charge Inspector Archana Dhurandhar went to the said place and identified the description given by the informer and caught her.

During interrogation, the said woman told her name to be Gudiya alias Afsana B, resident of Gupta Building, Motibag Chowk, Raipur. On searching by the team members, liquor was found kept in a white colored plastic bag. On demanding valid documents regarding keeping the liquor, no document was presented by her. On which the team members arrested the accused Gudiya alias Afsana B wife of Sheikh Hashim age 35 years resident of Gupta Building, Motibag Chowk, Raipur and seized 110 quarters of country liquor totaling 19.800 ml worth approximately Rs. 9,900/- and sales amount of Rs. 330/- from her possession and registered a case against the accused under Crime No. 318/24 Section 34(2) of the Excise Act at Police Station Golbazar and took action.
