Girlfriend gang-raped in front of boyfriend, 4 criminals arrested
Raigarh. A local teenage girl, along with her family, filed a rape report at the Lalunga police station. The girl stated that on the night of November 6, 2025, she had gone to the Paharludeg fair with a young man she knew. Four young men on two motorcycles stopped them on the way. They threatened and assaulted the young man accompanying her. One of the accused then took the young man away, and three other men raped her.
Regarding the seriousness of the incident, Superintendent of Police Divyang Patel arrived at Lalunga. Under his direction and the guidance of Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Siddhant Tiwari, a joint team of police from the Lalunga, Gharghodha, and Kapu police stations was formed to investigate and arrest the accused. Acting swiftly, the joint team arrested all four accused within just 12 hours. Following the identification process, the two motorcycles used in the incident were seized based on the accused’s memorandum. The arrested accused have been remanded in custody today in Crime No. 292/2025, Sections 70 (2), 61 (2) (a), and 115 (2) of the IPC at Lalunga Police Station.

- Ramesh Bhoy, son of Indrajit Bhoy, age 22, resident of Naharkela
- Sanjay Kumar alias Sanju Sidar, son of Madan Lal, age 19, resident of Tolge
- Vikas Bhagat, son of Chandramani Bhagat, age 19, resident of Narayanpur Lalunga (accomplice)
