Girl kidnapped and raped, case registered against four

Palwal: Humanity was again put to shame in Palwal, Haryana. The incident took place when a girl set out alone to return home. Then, seeing her alone, two youths kidnapped the girl and raped her. When the victim’s family talked to the accused family about this matter, the accused family threatened to kill them. The girl’s father has filed a case against 4 accused including a woman.
While filing the complaint, the girl’s father told the police that all the family members were busy in his brother’s wedding ceremony. It was his brother’s daughter’s wedding. After the ceremony his daughter was returning home alone. Then, seeing his daughter alone on the way, the accused kidnapped her. The accused have been identified as Imtiaz and Samun. Imtiaz took the girl to the fields and raped her. The same Samun remained standing outside the field to keep watch.
When this matter was complained to the family of the accused, the family threatened to kill the victim’s family. And also refused to take action. Utavad police station in-charge Tek Singh said that a case has been registered against the accused under various sections including rape and the search has been started.
