Girl hanged herself in bathroom, police sent body for postmortem

Janjgir-Champa. In village Putpura of Janjgir-Champa district, a girl has committed suicide by hanging herself in the toilet of her house. Police have not found any suicide note, but have confiscated his phone and sent it for investigation. The incident took place in City Kotwali police station area. City Kotwali police station in-charge Praveen Kumar Dwivedi said that information was received late on Sunday evening that Sania Chauhan (19 years) had hanged herself in the house.

The dead body was brought down from the gallows. Due to night, the Panchnama proceedings could not be carried out.On Monday morning, the police team reached the house and took the body in their custody and sent it for post-mortem. A mobile phone has also been recovered from the house. Which has been sent for investigation. Police is also investigating from love angle. During interrogation of the family members, it was told that mother and Sania were in the house at the time of the incident. Father was working in the garden and brother had gone for a walk. Sania had gone towards the toilet of the house. Mother had gone to check when he did not return for a long time. There was no response when the call was made and the door was locked from inside. Father was informed when the door was not opened. When the door was broken, she was found hanging. At present the reason for suicide is unknown. The police have conducted post-mortem of the body and handed it over to the family members.
