Girl goes out to vote for the first time, dies due to lightning

Ambikapur. There is shocking news from Surguja, Chhattisgarh. A girl had come here to vote. While returning home the weather suddenly changed. The girl was struck by lightning during the storm. Due to this she got burnt. By the time his family could take him to the hospital, he died. The girl had come to vote in the Lok Sabha elections for the first time. The entire incident happened while returning from village Kot polling station of Mainpat block. According to the information, 21 year old Kabutari Das had gone to vote in Lundra assembly constituency of Surguja Lok Sabha. He had voted in Kot polling booth of Lamgaon area. After that she was returning. Meanwhile suddenly lightning fell. Due to this she got seriously burnt.

According to the information, his brother and mother also got burnt due to lightning. The girl was immediately brought to a private hospital in Ambikapur. Here the doctors declared him dead. This incident happened around 3 pm when all three were sitting under a tree due to sudden rain. Kabutari’s brother and mother are out of danger. Meanwhile, the weather has suddenly changed in entire Chhattisgarh. It is raining heavily in many districts. There has been light rain along with strong wind and storm in Mungeli district. This has given relief to people from the heat. At the same time, the tents and curtains of the polling station have been blown away by the strong winds. There are dense clouds in Korba. The weather has become pleasant due to cold wind blowing along with the storm. Rain has started in Bilaspur with strong winds. Here the clouds which had been there since morning suddenly rained. Similarly, it is raining with strong storm in Surajpur. This has caused disruption in voting. Even in the fort, life has become disrupted due to the strong storm. Dark clouds have gathered. It can rain here anytime. The pandals set up for voting here have been uprooted.
