Girl falls into 60-foot-deep gorge while taking selfie in Pune , rescued by locals

Pune: Selfies proved to be fatal as a 29-year-old girl fell off a deep gorge at Borane Ghat in Maharashtra while trying to click a selfie on Saturday.

The locals immediately rushed to rescue the girl and was saved.

According to reports, 29-year-old Nasreen Amir Qureshi from Warje, Pune, slipped and fell into a 60-feet-deep gorge while taking a selfie at Borane Ghat. She had gone with a group of friends from Pune.

Nasreen was successfully pulled out of the gorge and immediately admitted to a private hospital in Satara for treatment.

Later, a video has gone viral showing Nasreen being saved by the locals and is seen crying in pain while being rescued from the deep gorge.

Recently, a 26-year-old travel influencer AAnvi Kamdar from Mumbai, died after falling off into a 300 feet deep gorge near the Kumbhe waterfall in Raigad of Maharashtra while making a reel.
