Girl dies while taking bath in mine, drowns while swimming

Bilaspur. A girl died by drowning in a pond in Jaitpur village of the district on Sunday morning. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and sent his body for postmortem. After going deep, the girl could not come up and drowned. The matter is of Malhar Chowki area.According to the information, around 11 am in village Jaitpur, Rooprani Bhaina (18) along with her elder sister Chitrani Bhaina had gone to take bath in the water filled in a Murroom mine, 200 meters away from the house.

Other people of the village were also bathing in the water filled in the mine.Rooprani was swimming in the deep water of the mine for a long time. Due to her shortness of breath, she ended up in deep water. By the time people understood, it was too late. After an hour of hard work, Rooprani was pulled out of the water, by then she had already died. The family members informed the Malhar Chowki police. Police reached the spot, sent the body for postmortem and started further action. The statement of the family members has been recorded.
