Girl accused of rape sits on dharna at army man’s house

Pendra. A girl has filed a report against a soldier posted in the army, alleging rape. The victim has been camping in the house of the accused soldier for 17 days. In the same case, the father of the accused soldier has also filed a report against the girl. In the report, a case has also been registered against the girl and her two family members for forcibly entering the jawan’s house and assaulting him. Pendra police has registered an FIR against both the parties and the matter is being investigated. It is being told that the accused soldier Birbhadra is posted in Mumbai.

Additional ASP Om Chandel said that the incident took place in Jhabra village of Pendra police station. Where there was a young man who lived outside. He had a relationship with a girl from the same village and the girl was pressurizing him to marry her. Also, the girl had forcefully started living in the boy’s house with his parents. He was given counseling several times in the matter. On the instructions of the SP, the girl was also talked to and asked to file a report but she was not ready for it.

On Sunday, after much persuasion, the girl registered a crime under sections 376 and 506. The police have registered a report in the matter and started investigation. Along with this, the maternal uncle and father of the girl, who were forcibly staying in the boy’s house, had beaten her mother, on which a report has been registered against the maternal uncle and father of the girl.
