GHMC said- drain desilting work on track

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) said that the desilting work of 53.96 km of the 171.25 km long drain flowing through Khairatabad area has been completed.

Regarding desilting of Balakpur Nala, which was recently inspected by M. Dana Kishore, Principal Secretary, MA&UD, a length of 4 km out of the total 9.64 km has already been desilted, a GHMC press release here on Wednesday said. The silt has been removed.
