General Motors recalls 62,468 vehicles

Business Business: General Motors has recalled 62,468 vehicles with a defect in the brake pressure sensor assembly that could lead to fluid leaks that could cause an electrical short circuit. The defect could generate excessive heat and pose a fire hazard, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said on Thursday.

According to NHTSA, the problem occurs when an unauthorized chemical is used by the supplier of the brake assembly, causing a part to fail over time.
