Gaurav Gogoi We will open schools instead of liquor shops
Nalbari: Gaurav Gogoi campaigning for Congress candidate Deep Bayan from Barpeta Lok Sabha seat in Nalbari on Thursday said, “This election is to protect the Constitution.” He said that this time when the leaders of Modi government come to power, they want to make changes in the Constitution to make some first class and others second class citizens.
He further said that even if everyone joins BJP, Rahul Gandhi himself will fight against BJP till his last breath. He revealed that his motivation for entering politics is not to gain power or become a Member of Parliament, but to serve and enlighten all the citizens of the country.
He promised that if the Congress government came to power, they would increase the salaries of Asha workers and Anganwadi workers and pay service holders as per the old pension schemes. He said that BJP closes schools and opens liquor shops. But they will open schools instead of liquor shops. He insisted that no Bangladeshi would be allowed to stay in Assam and promised to provide an accurate NRC.
