Gariaband: Risk of accident if tractor with pointed double cage wheels is driven on the road

Gariaband. The District Transport Officer, Gariaband, has appealed to farmers and the public to use tractors only for agricultural purposes. It has often been observed that tractors used in agriculture, equipped with double-pointed cage wheels, are being driven on roads without removing them.
Operating such vehicles on public roads, including national highways and state highways, is against the Motor Vehicles Act and rules. This poses a risk of serious accidents to other vehicles and pedestrians.
The District Transport Officer stated that if it is necessary to use a tractor on the road, the double-pointed cage wheels used for agricultural purposes should be removed immediately and standard wheels should be used. Violations of these rules will result in legal action against vehicle owners. The Transport Department has appealed to the public to cooperate with the administration in preventing accidents and ensuring safe travel.
