Ganja smuggling worth Rs 5 lakh, 6 smugglers arrested

Keshkal. Kondagaon Superintendent of Police has directed to take strict action against illegal interstate ganja smuggling, due to which continuous checking of suspicious vehicles was being done by setting up checkposts in front of Keshkal Police National Highway 30 police station, Vishrampuri Chowk, Batrali Chowk and Dadargarh Camp. Then three people were coming riding on different sports bikes, they were interrogated and their bag was searched in which ganja was found.

After which the police arrested all the 6 accused and seized 52 kg of ganja. It was told that all the accused are residents of Uttar Pradesh. Keshkal TI Saurabh Upadhyay said that in two days, 6 accused have been arrested in 2 cases from whom 3 sports bikes along with 52 kg 800 grams of ganja have been seized. The value of the seized ganja is said to be Rs 5 lakh 20 thousand. All the accused have been arrested and sent to jail after presenting them in the court.
