Ganja smuggling in Kabir Nagar, two smugglers arrested

In the same context, information was received today that some persons riding a four-wheeler near Bengali Hotel located under Kabir Nagar police station area were carrying ganja.

Looking for customers for sales. On which Additional Superintendent of Police West Jai Prakash Carpenter, City Superintendent of Police Azad Chowk Mayank Gurjar (BJP) verified the information and directed the station incharge Kabir Nagar to catch the accused red handed with ganja. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Kabir Nagar, the team of police station Kabir Nagar went to the place mentioned by the informer, identified the four-wheeler and caught it. There were two persons in the four-wheeler. During interrogation, the persons revealed their names to be Devendra Singh and Dharmendra Singh resident of Hirapur Kabir Nagar Raipur. When the team members searched his four-wheeler, it was found that ganja was kept in the vehicle. On which both the accused were arrested and a total of 10 kg 190 grams of ganja and four wheeler Bolero vehicle number CG 04 HC 4987 used in the incident and 02 mobile phone Jumla worth about Rs 6,50,000/- were seized from their possession and a case was registered against the accused at Kabir Police Station. Crime number 08/24 under Section 20B Narcotics Act was registered in the city and action was taken.

1) Devendra Singh, father Randhir Singh, age 38 years, resident of Kumhari Kharoon Greens, house no. 33, police station Kumhari, district Durg.
2) Dharmendra Singh alias Vicky, father late. Rajendra Pal Singh, age 34 years, resident of Veerasavarkar Nagar Hirapur, police station Kabir Nagar Raipur.
