Ganja smuggler arrested at Raipur railway station

A special team of Anti Crime and Cyber ​​​​Unit has been formed to take effective action on the Narcotics Act, and all the station in-charges have been directed to take strict action against those selling and supplying drugs.

chhattisgarh news In this connection, the team of Narcotics Cell formed under Anti Crime and Cyber ​​​​Unit received information that a person near Raipur Railway Station under Thana Ganj area has kept ganja with him and is trying to go somewhere. On which the senior officers directed the in-charge Anti Crime and Cyber ​​​​Unit and the police station in-charge Ganj to trace the accused and catch him red-handed with ganja.

On which, a joint team of Anti Crime and Cyber ​​Unit and Thana Ganj Police went to the said place and after investigation identified and arrested a person matching the description given by the informer. During interrogation, the person told his name to be Shivam Dahiya, resident of Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. When the team members searched the bag kept with him, ganja was found in the bag. On which the accused Shivam Dahiya was arrested and 05 kg 500 grams of ganja worth about Rs 55,000/- was seized from his possession and action was taken against the accused by registering a crime number 231/24 under section 20B of Narcotics Act in Thana Ganj against the accused.
