Gang rape with foreign woman, stir in police department

Dumka: A case of gang rape of a Spanish foreign woman from Kurumahat in Hansdiha police station area of Dumka district has come to light. However, this matter has not been officially confirmed yet. Police have detained three people in this case. Police are conducting raids to arrest the remaining. According to the information, a female and a male tourist from Spain had come on two different bikes. Since it was late in the evening, we stopped for rest near Kurmahat in Hansdiha police station area.
According to the information received from the sources, around 10 pm, 7 to 8 youths arrived late in the night, first beat her up and then also raped her. Both have been injured in this incident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot at night and took both of them to Saraiyahat Community Health Center, where the woman is undergoing treatment.
According to the information, in this incident the police have detained four youths of Kunji village of Hansdiha police station area and are interrogating them. Here, as soon as information about the incident was received, SP Pitambar Singh Kherwar, Jarmundi SDPO Santosh Kumar and Dumka DSP have been camping in Hansdiha since night.
