Gambling addiction took the life of a B.Com student, he consumed poison after losing money

Dhamtari. A B.Com first year student resident of Ekta Nagar Colony situated in Kotwali police station area of ​​the district committed suicide. According to the information, 19-year-old Vaibhav Sahu consumed pesticide poison in Khidki Tola area on Monday.

It is said that Vaibhav had mortgaged his gold necklace for Rs 35,000 in a jewellery shop in Dhamtari. He lost this entire amount in online betting. After losing the money, he was very stressed and in this shock, he drank poison. After consuming the poison, passersby noticed Vaibhav after which he was taken to the nearest hospital.

From there, he was referred to a private hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared him dead during treatment. At present, the police have registered a case and after the post-mortem, the body has been handed over to the family. The family and the people of the locality are in deep shock due to the sudden death of Vaibhav.
