G-20 meeting started in Rishikesh, discussion on these topics
Public Relations Webdesk | The meeting of the G-20 Infrastructure Development Working Group began in Rishikesh. Apart from G-20 member countries, a total of 63 representatives of invited countries and international organizations have participated in the meeting. In the meeting, international experts shared their experiences and suggestions on improving the infrastructure facilities of the cities.
The third meeting of the G-20 Infrastructure Development Working Group, which lasted for three days in Yognagari Rishikesh, began in Rishikesh from Monday. The meeting held a high-level discussion on the ‘Roadmap for Sustainable Cities’ in partnership with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. The G-20 policy makers deliberated in the meeting on exploring the role of rapid urbanization and inclusivity, technology, infratech and digitization.
Along with this, major challenges ranging from climate change to infrastructure resilience were brainstormed. The delegates involved in the discussion also understood the infrastructural model of Nusantara, a new city in Indonesia, one of the most ambitious cities in the world.
