Full dress rehearsal was done in the mini stadium before Independence Day

For Independence Day (15th August), today Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh and Superintendent of Police Mr. Ashutosh Singh saluted the parade of 11 contingents of Police, Nagar Sainik, NCC, NSS in the full dress rehearsal of Independence Day parade. The rehearsal was held in the mini stadium. The arrival of the chief guest, flag hoisting, reading of the Chief Minister’s message to the public, prize distribution etc. were rehearsed in the rehearsal. On this occasion, Sub-Divisional Officer Umesh Sahu arrived on the stage as the chief guest. The rehearsal started at 9.00 am in Government Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya Mahavidyalaya (Mini Stadium) Mahasamund. Today, the same arrangements were in the full dress rehearsal as on 15th August. That is, almost the same arrangements will be in the function on 15th August. Children from 6 schools of the district will give cultural presentation on Chhattisgarhi and national songs and music. Their rehearsal was also done today. During the program, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Mr. S. Alok. Additional Collector Mr. Ravi Sahu, Additional Superintendent of Police Pratibha Pandey, Sub-Divisional Officer Mr. Umesh Sahu and related officers and employees were present. Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh, Food and Civil Supplies Minister of Chhattisgarh Government Dayal Das Baghel will be the chief guest in the main function organized at the district headquarters. According to the scheduled program, the chief guest will arrive at 8.58 am on Independence Day. He will hoist the flag at 9 am. At 9.03 am, the parade will be inspected and guard of honor will be given. The chief guest will read the Chief Minister’s message to the public at 9.15 am. March past will be held at 9.35 am. On this occasion, the families of the martyrs will also be honored.

At 9.50 am, the officers / employees doing excellent work will be honored by giving awards and citation letters. The program will conclude at 10 am. The function will last for one hour. The collector has instructed the concerned officers to make proper arrangements for seating arrangements, drinking water, electricity, balloons, band etc. at the main function venue on Independence Day.
