Fraud of 9.5 lakhs, 4 arrests including woman

Kawardha. A case of cheating by luring has come to light from Pandariya of Kabirdham district. The thugs also have some local agents, who take the people of their area into confidence, then people get easily fooled. In Pandaria also, some people collected about 6.5 lakh rupees from the local people and reached Rajnandgaon miraculous baba by telling about the miracle of a miraculous baba of Rajnandgaon making water from a tortoise and multiplying the amount 10 times.

Gave the money to Baba there. Baba took the money from him and cleverly pretended to be sick while reciting mantras and sent him away saying that he would give the money later, but time passed. 10 times the amount, even the original amount was not returned.

The victims narrated the story of Thug Baba in Pandariya police station and lodged a report to get the money back. While taking action, the police arrested 4 accused including 1 woman, who used to grab money by fooling people in the same way. In the interrogation of the accused, they have so far accepted cheating of 9.5 lakhs. The police have registered a case against all four.
