Four girls fell into Peechi Dam reservoir, three in critical condition

Kerala: Four girls fell into the reservoir of Peechi dam in Thrissur. Locals rescued all four and took them to hospital. Police said three of them are in critical condition. The incident took place below Pallikunnu Anganwadi. It is being said that the accident happened when they slipped on a rock while going to the reservoir. The victims are Angres (16), Alina (16), Irene (16) originally from Pattikad and Neema (16) originally from Peechi. The other girls had come to their friend Neema’s house to celebrate a church festival. When one of the girls slipped and fell, the others also fell into the water while trying to save her. Hearing her screams, locals rushed to the shore and rushed them to the hospital.
