Former UPSC Chairman Dr. DP Aggarwal gave success tips to B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD students
Durg. Former UPSC Chairman Dr. DP Aggarwal addressed the B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD students at Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University on 19 April 2024. It may be noted that an expert lecture was organized at CSVTU Bhilai. The topic of which was “National Education Policy 2020 and its Implementation Strategy”. This lecture was chaired by Honorable Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. MK Verma and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Completed in UTD under the guidance of Sanjay Aggarwal. The program started with the honorable chief guests being welcomed by Dr. PK Ghosh, respected director of UTD, by giving them a flower bunch. In his address, the Director gave detailed information about various activities of UTD through presentation.
In today’s lecture, Dr. DP Aggarwal, the main spokesperson, explained the new education system 2020 in detail. In his address, Dr. Aggarwal said that according to the Education Act 2010, children up to 14 years of age have the right to education and this right comes under the legal right to education. After the new education policy comes, students can choose any subject and students can study Accounts or Arts subjects along with Physics. Connecting children with Indian culture, making education flexible, teaching discipline and empowerment to children, making education policy transparent, creative thinking of children, developing quality education, more focus on research as well as skills in new education policy. Along with development, emphasis has also been laid on basic education. Dr. Aggarwal also told the students that they should follow a regular routine for excellent studies. As was done by the students in Gurukul in ancient times. With this, students will be able to improve their physical and mental health. Further addressing the students, he said that they should strive for academic excellence and skills and not run for money and good marks. Because respect comes only after academic excellence. Dr. Aggarwal told very informative things to the students regarding UPSC. Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. MK Verma, Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Aggarwal, UTD Director Dr. PK Ghosh, CSVTU-Forte Director Dr. RN Patel and UTD professors and students were present in the above program.
