Former Minister Srinivas Goud arrested by Station Ghanpur police

Former minister Srinivas Goud, who was going to Narsampet in Warangal district to participate in the last rites of RTC driver Shankar Goud, was arrested midway through the station and taken to the police station. Earlier, former home minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, former MPs Vinod Kumar and Malothu Kavitha were arrested by the police at Raghunathapalli toll gate in Jangaon district and taken to the station.

Upon learning of the matter, Jangaon MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy immediately reached Raghunathapalli police station with his workers and made them sit in front of the station. They shouted slogans demanding the release of the BRS leaders. They accused the government of causing the deaths of the workers by not solving their problems. They demanded that the government recognize the RTC employees as government employees and announce their appointment dates.
