Forest guard’s mother attacked by bear, dies

Raigarh. In Raigarh district, a bear suddenly attacked a woman who had gone to the forest to pluck tendu leaves, due to which she died on the spot. As soon as information about the incident was received, the Forest Department team reached the spot and started taking further action. According to the information received in this regard, a bear suddenly attacked Indramati’s husband Horilal Agaria who was plucking tendu leaves in Bojia 505 PF forest of Chhal Range in Raigarh district. Due to which the woman died on the spot.

It is being told that the woman had gone to the forest with other villagers on Wednesday morning, meanwhile this incident happened after she encountered a bear in the forest. As soon as the information about the death of a woman due to bear attack was received, apart from the Forest Department team, the barking police reached the spot and started taking further action.

It is being told that the deceased woman Indramati Agaria is the mother of Shyam Agaria Forest Guard posted in Samharsingha Beat who lived in Chaal. This morning she had gone to Bojia forest to pluck tendu leaves, during which this incident happened.
