Fog engulfs Sannidhanam, crowd less due to continuous rain

Kerala: Due to continuous rain for two days, the crowd at Sannidhanam has reduced this morning. When the temple opened on the 3rd, the walkway was full of devotees. By 5.30 am it had reduced to just one line. There has been no rain in Sannidhanam in the morning, but there is a lot of fog. Sannidhanam and Pampa are bathed in fog. The fog is so dense that even people standing nearby are not visible.

There is no restriction on the forest path. There is also no restriction on Pampa bathing. The crowd at Pampa and Nilakkal is under control. This is the first time since the pilgrimage began that it has been raining in and around Sannidhanam for the last two days. Sannidhanam received 67.8 mm of rain in the 24 hours from 8.30 am on Thursday. Yesterday, in the 6 hours from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm, Sannidhanam received 14.6 mm of rain and Pampa 12.6 mm.
