Flop talk in theaters for the film Kaantha.. but impressive response in OTT

Despite the solid response to the film Kantha in Tamil, it failed to make an impact at the Kollywood box office. In Telugu, the film was found to be boring. The movie is getting a good response on OTT. Kantha was recently released in several major languages on the popular OTT platform Netflix. According to the latest update, Kantha received a fantastic response with 1.1 million views in its opening weekend.
Kantha also became the 17th Kollywood film to cross 1 million views in its first weekend of release on OTT. The film stars Bhagyashree Borse in the female lead role, while Samuthirakani and Rana play key roles. Along with Dulquer Salmaan, Tollywood actor Rana Daggubati is one of the producers of Kantha.
