Fire in cloth shop, fireman injured while extinguishing it
Korba: A huge fire broke out in a cloth shop named Delight Cloth Center located near the old bus stand in Korba on Sunday night. The cause of the fire is said to be a short circuit. On receiving the information, 3 fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and after a lot of effort, the fire was brought under control. While extinguishing the fire, the glass of the cloth shop broke, injuring a fireman.
This accident took place near the old bus stand under Kotwali police station in Korba. Delight Cloth Center operator Surjeet Singh Gulati said that when he was going to his house after closing the shop, someone told him about the fire. The operator immediately reached the spot where he saw that there was a fire on the second floor of the shop. The fire took a terrible form in no time.
The operator has suffered a lot in this incident, although the figure of the loss has not been revealed yet. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade team reached the spot. The fire was brought under control with the help of three fire brigade vehicles.
