Fire broke out in Lucknow hotel

Lucknow: A minor fire broke out in Gomti Hotel located on Sapru Marg near Hazratganj area of Lucknow on Sunday. Officials said the fire broke out on the fifth floor of the building. The incident caused panic among guests at the hotel, prompting staff to sound the alarm and evacuate the hotel.

There were no reports of injuries or casualties, officials said. On receiving the information, the fire brigade team along with the local police reached the spot and the fire was brought under control. According to the hotel staff, there is no news of anyone getting injured in the fire incident and the primary reason behind it is said to be electrical short circuit.
