Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary along with other guests inaugurated Apex Bank Sariya
Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. Finance Minister OP Choudhary, MP Raigarh Lok Sabha and eminent citizen Jagannath Panigrahi inaugurated the new branch of Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Bank Limited (Apex) Bank at Saraiya by cutting the ribbon. The long awaited demand of the farmers of Saraiya region to open an Apex Bank has been fulfilled. Before the inauguration, the chief guest OP Choudhary along with the guests worshipped the statue of Veer Hanuman, the statue of a farmer and the statue of Lord Shri Ganesh. On the occasion of inauguration, Finance Minister OP Choudhary opened his account in Apex Bank Saraiya. In his address, the Finance Minister said that congratulations and best wishes to all you farmers, we had promised to open this bank in a year and this bank opened in 8 months. RBI responded quickly to my and the state government’s letter.
As a result, we got the license to open Apex Bank in Saraiya, Tamnar and Bagicha. Opening a bank is our achievement, but it is equally important to run it in a better manner. He said that the bank should provide training to farmers on modern transaction processes like net banking, UPI, card withdrawal etc. Minister OP Chaudhary said that all farmers should be treated as powerful people and banking facilities should be provided to them. Farmers should use net banking facility carefully otherwise money may get wasted, which will cause a big loss. On being asked by Minister Chaudhary, the bank official told that money can be withdrawn from all the cards in this bank’s ATM and money can be withdrawn from other bank’s ATMs with Apex Bank’s card.
Minister OP Chaudhary said that I do not want farmers to stand in queues here, there should be irregularities, corruption. Farmers should face problems. Our government is dedicated to the farmers. More than 8 lakh houses have been approved. As Finance Minister, I will release the state share of PM Awas immediately. I work with full honesty, I do not take a single rupee commission from anyone. If I had earned money, I could have lived a comfortable life. I am serving selflessly. If I wanted, I could have worked as an IAS for 24 years. While addressing the gathering, the Finance Minister said that the road of village Mohndi will be built in a year. I approve the boundary wall in the Apex Bank Sariya premises. Along with this, the Finance Minister announced the approval of Rs 20 lakh for the construction of sheds for farmers to protect them from rain and sun on their own initiative.
While addressing the gathering, Raigarh Lok Sabha MP Radheshyam Rathia congratulated and welcomed Minister OP Choudhary for opening the Apex Bank to honor the farmers of Sariya. Eminent citizen Jagannath Panigrahi and KN Kande, Managing Director of Apex Bank addressed the gathering from the stage. On this occasion, the guests were honored by presenting shawls, coconuts and pictures of Shri Ganesh. On this occasion, food arrangements were made for all the farmers and citizens. On this occasion, Chairman Nagar Panchayat Sariya Swapnil Swarnkar, Zila Panchayat members Kailash Nayak and Ajay Nayak, eminent citizens Umesh Agarwal, Babulal Patel, Managing Director of Apex Bank K N Kande, Joint Commissioner Cooperation U B S Rathiya, OSD Avinash Shrivastava, Assistant Commissioner Cooperation Vyasnarayan Sahu, Nodal Officer Sanjay Kumar Sahu, Branch Manager of Apex Bank Sariya JP Singh, SDO Police Snehil Sahu, Tehsildar Komal Sahu along with a large number of farmers and public representatives were present.
