“When I came to Mumbai, I associated it with stars and glitz. During my college years, I spent my time at Marine Drive, reflecting that I had become Miss India. This city makes me feel like my dreams are just on the verge – on the brink of happening, and it inspires me to work as hard as I can and dream big because there is no size limit to dreams in Mumbai, even though the city is small but it is full of life!”
When these young women arrive, their excitement is palpable. For many, the thrill of participating in Femina Miss India is linked to the desire to learn and grow. For Femina Miss India Kerala 2024 Akshatha Meetine, reaching Mumbai is an emotional milestone. “It still feels so surreal that I have come this far. Reaching Mumbai is both humbling and exhilarating. It is like stepping into a world I always wanted to be a part of, a world full of possibilities,” she says.
