Female smuggler arrested with ganja in Dhamtari city

Dhamtari. A woman smuggler has been arrested with ganja in the city. City Kotwali Police received information from an informer that a woman named Hirabai Dhimar is selling ganja to people in Vindhyavasini Ward Dhamtari near Khodiya pond. On this information, taking action under the provisions of NDPS Act, 750 grams of narcotic substance ganja worth Rs. 8,000/- and cash amount of Rs. 150/-, total Rs. 1,150/- was seized from a white cloth bag from the possession of accused Mrs. Hirabai Dhimar, wife of Saharu Dhimar, resident of Vindhyavasini Ward Dhamtari, Police Station City Kotwali Dhamtari (CG). Crime No. 415/24 under Section 20 (a) NDPS Act was registered against the accused in Police Station City Kotwali Dhamtari and the accused was duly arrested and sent on judicial remand. In the above action, Sub Inspector Santoshi Netam, Pra. Harish Sahu, Constable Girish Mishra, Mahendra Sinha, Bhagwat Khandekar, women constables Prachi Gupta, Anita Singh, Sunita Sahu, Sonia Sahu and from Shakti team, MR. Laxmi Nagvanshi, Maheshwari Sidar, Sarla Tiwari and vehicle driver Thakur Ram had a special contribution.
