Father killed son with an axe, accused arrested
Jashpur. A father killed his son in Jashpur, Chhattisgarh. The father attacked his son with an axe after he got into an argument under the influence of alcohol. The police have arrested the accused father. The incident took place in Barpani Khonga village of City Kotwali area. According to the information, the deceased Anil Ram (48) was addicted to alcohol and used to quarrel over family matters under the influence of alcohol almost every day.
On January 4, guests had come to the house, and Anil Ram came there drunk at around 12:30 in the night. After this, he went to his father Ronha Ram’s (60) room and started fighting with him over domestic matters. During this, in a fit of rage, father Ronha Ram picked up an axe kept in the house and attacked Anil Ram’s head 3 to 4 times. Anil Ram fell on the ground. He died after some time.
