Farmers became prosperous in the good governance of the Chief Minister

Raipur. Under the good governance of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, farmer-friendly decisions are giving economic benefits, which is making it easier for farmers to do farming. The farmers of the state are becoming prosperous. Chhattisgarh is called the rice bowl and the state has a good crop of paddy. Paddy is purchased from farmers by the Chhattisgarh government. In the Kharif year 2023-24, 144.92 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been purchased from 24 lakh 72 thousand farmers at the support price. Most of the farmers of Balod district mainly do agricultural work, agriculture is the basis of their economic life. Farmers mainly cultivate paddy. A new era of prosperity of farmers has started with the good governance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai.

Doman Lal Sahu, a farmer of village Kohangatola of Balod development block of the district, said that he cultivates paddy in about 05 acres. Expressing happiness, he said that under the good governance of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, he had sold paddy of the last Kharif year at the rate of 21 quintals per acre, for which he received an amount of Rs 3100, along with this, the bonus due for 02 years has also come to his account. All this was a very happy time for him when he used this money to build his permanent house and deposited the remaining money for the marriage of his children. He praised the farmer friendly scheme of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai and called it helpful for the farmers.

Tularam Nagvanshi, a farmer of village Revati Navagaon of Balod development block of the district, said that now he has got the right price for paddy sale. He has used it in his under-construction house. For good farming and double crop, he has also got a bore dug for irrigation in his field. Praising the schemes, he said that Chief Minister Sai is doing better work for the upliftment of farmers, due to which the economic condition of the farmers has improved a lot. Now we are getting the fertilizers and manure required for farming from the society on time. Along with this, we are also getting technical guidance from the officials of the Agriculture Department from time to time.
