Faridkot: Case registered against one person for promoting separatism

Punjab: Nearly seven months after pro-Khalistan graffiti, slogans and flags appeared on the walls of Faridkot’s Nehru stadium — just days before Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann hoisted the national flag there on Republic Day — the police have finally named a man as an accused in the case.
Resham Singh, who was produced before the chief judicial magistrate’s court in Faridkot on a production warrant from Ropar jail, has now been formally named in the FIR lodged on January 23, 2025, under charges of promoting separatist propaganda.
