Farewell and welcome ceremony in Commissionerate, best wishes given to Abhishek Srivastava

Ghaziabad: A mix of respect, emotions, and new responsibilities was evident at the Ghaziabad Police Commissionerate headquarters on Friday. A grand farewell ceremony was held to mark the transfer of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Abhishek Srivastava of Indirapuram. Police officers at the ceremony praised his tenure and wished him a bright future. Four newly appointed ACPs were also warmly welcomed.
The Ghaziabad Police Commissioner, Additional Commissioner of Police (Headquarters and Crime), and several senior Commissionerate officials were present at the farewell and welcome ceremony. The officials praised ACP Abhishek Srivastava’s tenure and his work ethic, stating that he maintained law and order in the Indirapuram area and set an example of good policing.
During the ceremony, officials noted that transfers are a common process in the police department, but the impact of an officer’s work and behavior is always remembered. They stated that Abhishek Srivastava discharged his duties with responsibility, discipline, and excellent coordination during his tenure.
Senior officers stated that ACP Abhishek Srivastava’s role in maintaining peace and order in the area, controlling crime, and establishing better communication with the public was commendable. Officers and staff remembered his contributions. He was congratulated for successfully discharging his new responsibilities at the ceremony.
On this occasion, police officers stated that new officers join the department with renewed energy and experience. In this vein, four newly appointed Assistant Commissioners of Police were welcomed to the Ghaziabad Commissionerate.
Senior officers presented bouquets to newly appointed ACPs Ram Kishan, Sunil Kumar, Suchita Singh, and Shailendra Kumar Singh and congratulated them on joining the Commissionerate family. The officers expressed hope that all the new officers will further strengthen the law and order situation in the district through their efficiency, experience, and superior leadership skills.
Officers present at the ceremony encouraged the new ACPs to play an active role in the functioning, responsibilities, and public-facing matters of the Ghaziabad Commissionerate. They emphasized that sensitivity, transparency, and prompt action are essential for improving the police’s image among the public.
