Fake notes worth crores were hidden between the sarees, police will make a big revelation
Mahasamund. Police in Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh on Thursday recovered fake notes worth Rs 3.80 crore. These notes were being carried hidden inside sarees in a pickup. The police are looking into connecting it to the international network. The matter is of Saraipali police station area. SP Rajesh Kukreja said that 76 thousand fake notes of Rs 500-500 were found from 760 packets. These were being taken from Sarangarh to Raipur by filling them in 4 sacks.
He said that the pickup driver, Arun Sidar (18), resident of Saraipali, has been arrested. On Wednesday, the police had received information about carrying of fake notes. After this a blockade was imposed. A pickup was seen coming near Agrasen Chowk of Saraipali in the morning. The police is also trying to catch a big kingpin in this case as soon as possible and will also make many big revelations in the future.
When the police stopped her and searched her, fake notes hidden between the sarees inside were recovered. During police interrogation, accused Arun Sidar told that he was going to Raipur to deliver sarees. On the way, near Amethi village, a person stopped him and asked him to leave 4 sacks for Raipur.
After this he loaded the sacks into the load pickup. SP Rajesh Kukreja said that fake notes, pickup and mobile of the accused have been seized. The accused is being interrogated. In this, there may be connections to other states also. At the same time, they are also giving information to the Reserve Bank of India. Will include them in the investigation.
