Extensive security arrangements made for Modi’s meeting in Jagtial

Jagtial: Extensive security arrangements have been made for the public meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be held in Jagtial on Monday.

According to Jagtial Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanpreet Singh, around 1,600 policemen will be deployed for the Prime Minister’s visit.
“The security arrangements have been divided into different areas. In-charge of these zones will be officers of SP and Additional SP cadre. The SP said, officers and employees have been asked not to leave the place assigned to them until the meeting is over.

“Use of drones is prohibited. Traffic will be curbed. In fact, traffic diversion had started today itself,” he said.
Elaborating on the traffic diversion, he said: “Vehicles coming from Karimnagar to Nizamabad will be diverted through the bypass road at Dharur Big Canal. Vehicles going from Nizamabad to Karimnagar should divert towards Dharur Badi Canal via Thatipalli Bypass. Vehicles going from Dharmapuri to Karimnagar will be diverted towards Dharur Badi Canal via Polasa via Timmapur Bypass. In the opposite direction, vehicles will proceed towards Polassa via Timmapur Bypass Road.
