Erode: The decision has been made to postpone Vijay’s public meeting until December 18.

Tamil Nadu: K.A. Sengottaiyan, the chief coordinator of the Thaveka executive committee and Kongu regional organization secretary, said that the public meeting in Erode, which Vijay is scheduled to attend, has been postponed until December 18.
In this regard, he told reporters near Pavalathampalayam in Erode on Tuesday: “Of the 84 conditions given for the public meeting of Thaveka leader Vijay in Erode, the question of what to do in case of rain or sunshine has not yet been addressed. Therefore, with the aim of fulfilling these conditions, we will request the police department and the district collector to grant permission to hold the public meeting on December 18, two days later than the originally scheduled date of December 16. After the letter is issued, permission to change the date will be obtained by presenting it to the leadership.
We hope they will grant permission after we fulfill their conditions. If permission is not granted, we will go to court. We should ask the government why they are imposing such conditions only on Thaveka, which are not applicable to the ruling party and the opposition party.
They have asked for a list of names and identity cards of the people attending. There are no such restrictions in Puducherry. The date has been changed due to insufficient time to fulfill the conditions. The public has been asked to travel approximately 14 km to reach the venue. They have imposed restrictions.
When BJP state president Nainar Nagendran was asked about Vijay’s desire to become Chief Minister, even though he cannot even become a councilor, Nainar Nagendran said that it would be better if he joined the AIADMK. He said that whatever he speaks is for the AIADMK, not for the BJP.
Inspection: Earlier, K.A. Sengottaiyan inspected the site near the Vijayamangalam toll booth near Perundurai where the Thaveka public meeting will be held.
